Meet Miss Hopper

Greetings! My name is Lisa Hopper. This is my tenth year teaching 2nd grade at Eagle Ridge Academy. Prior to coming to Eagle Ridge, I taught kindergarten and 1st grade at Burroughs Community School in Minneapolis. I attended North Central University and graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I value every student that comes into my classroom and I am so privileged to have the opportunity to work with you and your child. I am looking forward to a fantastic year!
I have 7 adorable rescued rabbits named Tom, Jerry, and Andy (bonded trio) and Madelyn, Oscar, Milton, and Opie (bonded quartet). They are very spoiled. My biggest passion outside of school is rabbit rescue. I am a very active volunteer and foster with Rabbit Rescue of Minnesota. I enjoy educating people on the proper care of rabbits as they are one of the most misunderstood companion animals and require a lot more care than most people would expect. I also enjoy spending time with family, reading a good book, finding a good bargain, and watching old black and white movies and classic TV shows.
